An expansion valve (7, 207a, 207b) of a refrigeration cycle device (1, 101, 201) is provided with a case (31) having a valve chamber (35), and a valve body (33) arranged in the valve chamber (35). The case (31) includes a side wall part (31a) to which a first pipe (21) is connected and an end wall part (31b) to which a second pipe (23) is connected. The end wall part (31b) is provided with a flow hole (37) opened and closed by the valve body (33). The flow hole (37) is provided so as to satisfy L < λ/2, where L represents the axial length of the flow hole (37) and λ represents the resonance wavelength. |
