The present invention relates to an apparatus for drying and treating sewage sludge. The apparatus includes: a hopper for inputting the sewage sludge; a drying furnace connected with the hopper, formed in a cylindrical shape, and extended downward; a storage tank for storing a heat transfer oil; a heater for heating the heat transfer oil in the storage tank; and a conveying pump for supplying the heat transfer oil in the storage tank into the drying furnace, wherein the sewage sludge inserted into the hopper is dehydrated according to heat transfer by the heat transfer oil supplied to the drying furnace, and the dehydrated sewage sludge with the heat transfer oil flows downstream along the inclined drying furnace. According to the present invention, the drying furnace is formed in a cylindrical shape and is inclined to extend and the sewage sludge inserted into the drying furnace flows downstream without additional transferring method while evaporating by exchanging heat with the heat transfer oil so that the sewage sludge is dried rapidly with such a simple configuration.
