PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which enables the materialization of further superior cycle characteristics by preventing Mn elution.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery herein proposed comprises: a granular complex oxide having a spinel structure, and including at least nickel (Ni) and manganese (Mn) as positive electrode active materials. The complex oxide particles include at least one crystal phase of LiNbOand LiMgNbO(where 0<x<1); the crystal phase is segregated in a surface layer portion of each complex oxide particle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
