PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of reducing power consumption even during communication.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 20 includes: a first communication section 21; a second communication section 22; and a control section 23. The first communication section 21 performs a first radio communication with a second apparatus 40 via a first channel 15 being interposed by a first apparatus 30. The second communication section 22 performs a second radio communication which is capable of performing data transmission/reception at a speed faster than the first radio communication with the second apparatus 40 via a second channel 16 different from the first channel 15 which is a channel using a public network 12. When the first communication section 21 receives a piece of start request information transmitted from the first apparatus 30, the control section 23 controls the second communication section 22 to start.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
