PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam box enabling ice making, enabling packaging food requiring low temperature control with ice and shipping by extremely simple work without the need of the installation of a large-sized ice machine.SOLUTION: A foam box 1 enabling ice making is molded from foam synthetic resin, and includes a container body 3 having a polygonal bottom plate 3f and lateral plates 3a-3d integrally raised from sides of the periphery of the bottom plate 3f, and a polygonal lid body 2 covered on an opening of the container body 3. The lid body 2 has in the lower surface at least one recessed space 2b for housing water, turned upside down. Owing to the structure, the foam box 1 made of styrene foam enables packaging food requiring low temperature control with ice and shipping by extremely simple work without the need of the installation of a large-sized ice machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
