PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently detect a skippable region when creating print data on the basis of PDL data.SOLUTION: An image processor comprises: intermediate data creation means which creates intermediate data per title on the basis of PDL data which are described in a page description language; skip information means which determines whether the intermediate data per title are valid or invalid, and creates skip information; rendering processing means which performs rendering processing to the intermediate data of the title which are determined to be valid out of the intermediate data per title on the basis of the skip information, and creates the image data per title; and image processing means which detects, on the basis of the skip information, the number of the titles which are included in a band, and determined to be valid on the basis of the skip information, and performs image processing per image band to the image data which are created by the rendering processing means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
