PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress occurrence of noise due to oscillation, in a so-called axial piston type compressor.SOLUTION: A compressor 1 is configured such that a compression part 11 and an electric motor 12 driving the compression part 11 with a drive shaft 18 are stored in a closed container 2. The compression part 11 includes a cylinder 22 arranged parallely with the drive shaft 18, and a piston 23 moving in a reciprocated manner in the cylinder 22. The compression part 11 and the electric motor 12 are integrated to constitute an electric compression mechanism 3.
