PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm connection recovery with a remote management system without needing a special procedure after an inspection work is finished.SOLUTION: A remote monitoring system of an elevator includes: a monitoring device 1 which is connected to a control device 3 of the elevator so as to monitor the operation of the elevator on the basis of various control signals transmitted from the control device 3; a disconnection switch 5 for disconnecting the connection between the monitoring device 1 and the control device 3; a portable communication terminal 17 carried by an operator engaging in an inspection work; and a monitoring center 21 which has a server device 15 for network communication connected to the monitoring device 1 and the portable communication terminal 17 via a communication line and monitors an operation state of the elevator at each place on the basis of information transmitted from the monitoring device 1. The server device 15 notifies the portable communication terminal 17 of the operator executing the inspection work of connection recovery when receiving a recovery confirmation signal transmitted from the monitoring device 1 detecting that the disconnection by the disconnection switch 5 is released and the connection between the monitoring device 1 and the control device 3 is recovered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
