1. An invasive device positioning assembly, comprising:
a position alignment means, a pivoting means and a power and electronic control means; the position alignment means, which provides positional information of a tissue object in relation to a proximal portion of an ultrasound transducer, which comprises an electromagnetic pointing device configured to produce a linear shadow line aligned either in parallel with or at a right angle to a linear axis of an ultrasound transducer array in an ultrasonographic field by blocking ultrasound waves transmitted from said ultrasound transducer to the tissue object, and which is connected to the power and electronic control means; the pivoting means, which is configured to radially pivot an invasive-device-carrying means about a proximal hinge of said invasive-device-carrying means, which is isolated from internal components of an apparatus which said invasive device positioning assembly is a part of, which comprises a pivoting handle means and a pivotable stabilizer means, and which provides the power and electronic control means with information of radial movements of said pivoting means; and the power and electronic control means, which powers the electromagnetic pointing device to produce said linear shadow line aligned with said linear axis of the ultrasound transducer array, and which relays positional information between the position alignment means and the pivoting means. |
