Provided is an image generation device (10) for generating a perspective-converted image from images captured by in-vehicle cameras (2a-2d), by referring to the corresponding relationships therebetween. The image generation device is equipped with: a first region update unit (15) for, when a shift is detected in the attachment position and/or attachment angle of an in-vehicle camera and a new attachment position and attachment angle is calculated, updating the corresponding relationship of an image inside a prescribed first region in a perspective-converted image, according to the new attachment position and attachment angle; and a second region update unit (16) for, when prescribed update conditions are satisfied after updating the corresponding relationship for the first region, updating the corresponding relationship for a second region excluding the first region in the perspective-converted image, according to the new attachment position and attachment angle. |
