The invention relates to an article transport facility. A high-position carrying part is arranged at a height which is higher than the height of the carrying plane of a carrying article in a low-position carrying part and lower than the upper end of an article at the low-position carrying part. The moving locus at the low-position carrying part and the moving locus of the article carried at the high-position carrying part are provided with a repeated repeating part and an unrepeated non-repeating part, the low-position carrying part is arranged when the repeated repeating part and the unrepeated non-repeating part are arranged side by side along the moving direction; and the moving locus at the high-position carrying part and the moving locus of the article carried at the low-position carrying part are provided with a repeated repeating part and an unrepeated non-repeating part, the high-position carrying part is arranged when the repeated repeating part and the unrepeated non-repeating part are arranged side by side along the moving direction. |
