[Class 44] [Also in Group XV] A fastening device for clamping the longitudinal members 3, 4 of a racket press of the kind described in Specification 323,229, [Class 132 (ii)], comprises two spring blades 1, Fig. 3, hinged by a pin 2 to the longitudinal member 3 and adapted to clip over the longitudinal member 4 which is provided with recesses 6 to receive inturned ends on the blades. Instead of employing recesses 6, the free ends of the blades may be hooked or otherwise formed to look together. In a modification, Fig. 4, the locking member comprises a U-shaped wire 7 adapted to swing into engagement with pins 9.</p> |
