The invention relates to a pressure worm (1) consisting of at least one conveying screw (3) rotatably mounted in a main housing (2), a filling opening (4) for products, for example damp or wet waste, to be dried, and a pressing cone (5) against which the conveying screw transports or presses the products. The pressing cone (5) engages in an opening of the main housing by the conical side thereof or by the cone thereof, towards the outside, in such a way that a gap (7) remains between the opening and the pressing cone (5), for dispensing the pressed and dried product, the pressing cone (5) being rotatably embodied. The invention is characterised in that the conveying screw (3) has a shaft (31) which is used simultaneously at least as part of a bearing arrangement (12) for the pressing cone (5), oriented towards the conveying screw. |
