PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall detector that can detect the presence or absence of fall and the fall direction of a packing box.SOLUTION: A fall detector 1 is installed in a packing box or a pallet 10 with the packing box mounted thereon, and detects the presence or absence of fall and the fall direction of the packing box. The fall detector is configured by: housing a vessel 3 with an upper end opened in a transparent case 2; forming a plurality of chambers S1-S4 in the circumferential direction by defining a space between the vessel 3 in the case 2 and itself by partition plates 5; storing sand (fluid) 4 within the vessel 3; and causing the sand 4 in the vessel 3 to be stored in any of the plurality of chambers S1-S4 by the fall of the packing box. For example, the vessel 2 is formed in a tapered shape toward the upside, and the upper end is opened in the position higher than the upper end of the partition plates 5. Also, the space between the vessel 3 in the case 2 and itself is defined into the four chambers S1-S4 by four pieces of the partition plates 5. |
