A turbine component includes a main body with an upstream end and a downstream end. A cooling passage network is interior to the main body and has multiple cooling passages (310A, 310B). A shared passage wall (316) in the cooling passage network includes a cross passage opening (320) connecting each passage partially defined by the shared passage wall (316). The cross passage (316) further including a pressure balancing feature (330) operable to reduce a local pressure differential in a fluid pressure in each adjacent passage (310A, 310B) at the cross passage (320).
