Disclosed is a schedule transmission method in a mobile terminal comprising the steps of: displaying a plurality of schedules recorded in a scheduler of the mobile terminal on a screen of the mobile terminal; receiving a first input to select a first schedule from the plurality of schedules displayed on the screen, the first schedule including information regarding an alert; receiving a second input to transmit the first schedule in the scheduler; in response to the receiving of the second input, converting a data format of the first schedule to a predetermined data format which is transferable through a message; generating a message including the converted first schedule; and transmitting the message to at least one other mobile terminal, wherein the first schedule is configured to be recorded in a scheduler of the at least one other mobile terminal and to set an alert in the at least one other mobile terminal according to the information regarding the alert included in the first schedule.
