PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand collection device using a water feed pump having same performance at sand basins whose lengths are equal, capable of reducing number of sand collection valves to be installed.SOLUTION: A bottom surface of a sand basin is divided into plural zones, and on each zone, a nozzle header formed by installing plural nozzles with predetermined intervals is installed along a side wall of the sand basin, and water is fed sequentially to each nozzle header via control by a sand collection valve from a water feed pump in a state of drainage state on the sand basin. Therefore, the earth accumulated on the bottom surface of the sand basin is flown to trough formed in parallel to a water flow direction in the sand basin on the bottom surface of the sand basin, and the earth is collected to a sand collection pit formed on the bottom part of the sand basin via the trough. The bottom surface of the sand basin is equally divided in the water flow direction in the sand basin from an upstream side end to a downstream side end of the sand basin on at least one side of the trough for forming plural zones. On one of the zones, a sand collection pit inclination surface for inclining downward to the bottom surface of the sand collection pit disposed on the bottom part of the sand basin from the side wall of the sand basin, is formed. Numbers of nozzles of the nozzle headers installed on all zones are equal and have equal intervals. |
