<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing and a film transfer apparatus having excellent durability, a low outgas property, and a low torque property at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: Applying a photofabrication process to a flat metal plate, an outer edge portion of a whole of a retainer 5 including a pocket 4 and a plurality of through holes 6 penetrating in a radial direction are collectively formed. The flat metal plate in which the pocket 4 and each of the through holes 6 are provided are bent to be along an inner race 1 and an outer race 2 by a method of press work etc., to form into an annular shape, and both the ends in the circumferential direction are joined. Next, a solid lubricant agent is retained in each of the through holes 6 which is formed in the retainer 5, the inner race 1, the outer race 2, and a rolling element 3 are sequentially assembled to obtain a deep groove ball bearing 10.
