<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ottoman apparatus for a vehicle seat which can be attached easily to a seat in spite of having an energy-applying means that applies energy to the ottoman to move it. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus includes: an ottoman 32, which can be moved between fixing units that fix the same to a vehicle seat, a storage position at which the same is close to the fixing units, and a use area in which the same is separated from the fixing units; a moving mechanism which supports the ottoman 32 and moves the ottoman 32 to the storage position and to the use area; a lock means, which is disposed on any one of the fixing units, the ottoman 32, and the moving mechanism and switches between a locked state in which the operation of the moving mechanism is regulated and an unlocked state in which the regulation is canceled; and an energy-applying means 67 which has both ends connected to any one of the fixing units, the ottoman 32, and the moving mechanism and applies energy to the moving mechanism so that it moves the ottoman 32 toward the use area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
