PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainable ostomy pouch which can conceal a drain chute part.SOLUTION: A drainable ostomy pouch 10 includes a collection part and a drain chute part 24 which extends from the collection part and has a discharge opening part 26 for permitting the emptying of contents from the pouch. The drain chute part is foldable between an open state in which the drain chute part is extended from the collection part and a closed state in which the drain chute part is folded toward the collection part. At least one flap 41, 42 retains the folded drain chute part. Additionally or alternatively, each of the flaps has a periphery including a convex curved part. The pouch may further have at least one fastening device 36, 38 for releasably fastening the flaps each other when the drain chute part is in the closed configuration. The convex curved part of the flap provides the pouch with a convex curved peripheral shape in the region of the drain chute part. |
