<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker for improving maintainability by reducing sticky juice accumulated in a space of a steam passage, and to prevent water drops from falling on cooked rice from the steam passage when a lid is opened and an outer lid is closed during cooking and heat retaining. <P>SOLUTION: A steam vent 6 is formed in the outer lid 5 forming an upper face of a lid body 3. A cylindrical wall B7 is formed on a lower face of the outer lid so as to surround the steam vent 6. A valve holder 12 is arranged so as to be separated from a packing 8 on an end face of a cylindrical wall B7 of the steam passage 11. The valve holder 12 is formed of a hollow body of the cylindrical wall B7 and a valve 13 is arranged so as to close a lower face. At least a packing projection 8a on the hinge side, which is part of the packing 8 in the end face of the cylindrical wall B7, is arranged so as to be closer to an outer face of the valve holder 12 than the other parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
