In a method on a mobile end device for selecting an application from a plurality of applications for carrying out a transaction with a terminal, a transaction request is received from the terminal (S1). Thereupon an execution of a transaction is started using a first application, for the purpose of obtaining a parameter (S2) defining the transaction, said parameter then being obtained by the first application (S3). When the parameter has been obtained, the transaction is aborted (S4). Then it is checked (S5) which of the applications is arranged to currently carry out the transaction defined by the obtained parameter. Thereafter the plurality of the applications is limited to a subset of those applications that are respectively arranged to carry out the transaction defined by the obtained parameter (TS6.1). Alternatively, at least one of the applications is modified to the effect that, after being modified, it is arranged to carry out the transaction defined by the obtained parameter (TS6.2). |
