PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite optical member which prevents a part where a medium is not applied to a composition surface from existing and which has excellent optical characteristics not generating color unevenness and luminance unevenness, and to provide a manufacturing method of the composite optical member, an illumination device and an electronic device.SOLUTION: A composite optical member 10A is used by transmitting light at a composition surface between a first optical member 1 and a second optical member 2. The first optical member 1 and the second optical member 2 are joined to each other with photothermal conversion material 3 interposed therebetween. The photothermal conversion material 3, or a transformed object or a decomposed object of the photothermal conversion material 3 at the time of the joint sticks out as sticking out parts 3a, 3a at other regions linked with the composition surface. |
