摘要 The present invention provides a composition for forming a negative electrode of a lithium secondary battery, and a lithium secondary battery including a negative electrode produced by using the same. The composition for forming a negative electrode of a lithium secondary battery includes: a silicon oxide-based first negative electrode active material on which a first cellulose-based compound of which a weight-average molecular weight is 2000000 to 3000000 g/mol is surface-treated; a graphite-based second negative electrode active material; a second cellulose-based compound of which a weight-average molecular weight is 2000000 to 3000000 g/mol; a styrene butadiene rubber-based binder; and a conducting material. The composition for forming a negative electrode compensates mechanical elimination and dispersibility degradation of the active materials in the electrode, thereby improving a lifespan characteristic of the battery.
