The present invention relates to an electrode having a dual layer structure, a manufacturing method thereof, and a lithium secondary battery including the same. The electrode includes: an electrode current collector; a middle layer formed on at least one surface of the electrode current collector; and an electrode active material layer formed on the middle layer. The middle layer includes a first binder, and the electrode active material layer includes an electrode active material and a second binder. The first binder and the second binder are made of the same kind of material but have different crystal phases.
