The present invention relates to a multimedia apparatus for providing a voice guide where the latest trend and popular contents are reflected and a method for providing the voice guide. The method for providing a voice guide comprises: a step of collecting keywords related to contents displayed on a screen of the multimedia apparatus and input search keywords; a step of classifying the collected keywords according to each item and storing the collected keywords; a step of determining the priority order of the stored keywords according to each item; a step of generating an utterance sentence with respect to each item using a key word in the top priority order of each item; and a step of displaying a voice guide providing generated utterance sentences. |
