The system (1) has screen-control devices (5a-5c) comprising a control logic for generating screen-signal, where a video signal is overlapped with goods sale information signals. The control device selects the information signals assigned to goods i.e. TVs (4a-4c), where the selected information signal is used for producing the screen-signal. The control device is designed for simultaneously receiving data with respect to the video signal and data with respect to the information signals, where the control device comprises network or Internet-connections (7a-7c). An independent claim is also included for a method for starting and operating a merchandise presentation system. |
