The present invention relates to a method for treating skin diseases and skin conditions in a patient in need thereof which comprises of administering a therapeutically effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of 7-(1H-Imidazol-4-ylmethyl)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-quinoline, or its individual enantiomers or the tautomers thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

A method of treating a skin condition selected from the group consisting of rosacea, rosacea fulminans, and telangiectasia of the face in a patient suffering from the condition, the method comprising treating the patient with a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of (S)-(+)-7-1H-imidazol-4-ylmethyl)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydroquinoline, or tautomer of the foregoing, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the foregoing.
