An embodiment of the present invention relates to a voice message transmission system using an avatar, and a technological subject is to transfer a voice message to a receiver terminal wherein the voice message is an intention, of which a sender wants to transmit to a receiver, converted into text, voice and avatar information. To this end, the embodiment of the present invention discloses the voice message transmission system comprising: a sender terminal which loads an avatar matching application, generates a short message of the sender composed of a text by executing the avatar matching application, selects the receiver and then transmits the short message; the receiver terminal which loads the avatar matching application is loaded, and receives the avatar selected by executing the avatar matching application and the voice message composed of voice data corresponding to the text; and an avatar providing server which stores a plurality of avatar information, the short message of the sender, and the voice data corresponding to the text, generates the voice data corresponding to the text of the transmitted short message by a request of the sender and the voice message composing of the selected avatar, and transmits the voice data and the voice message to the selected receiver terminal.
