DRAINAGE OF HELICOPTER DECK AND DRAIN METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a drainage system of a helicopter deck and a draining method thereof. The drainage system of a helicopter deck comprises: a plurality of scuppers installed on a floor of a helicopter deck at regular intervals; a chamber to store a fluid moved through the scuppers; a detection means to detect contamination of the fluid stored in the chamber; a tank to store contaminated fluid of the chamber by the detection means; and a control unit to discharge the fluid to the tank or the surface of the sea depending on contamination of the fluid detected by the detection means. The chamber temporarily stores the fluid drained from the helicopter deck, and the tank temporarily stored the contaminated fluid to selectively discharge the fluid depending on whether the fluid is contaminated. The contaminated fluid and non-contaminated fluid can be separately discharged to prevent environmental pollution. Transport of the fluid can be freely adjusted by a valve. Installation is easy due to a simple structure.
