The present invention relates to a permanent antistatic fiber comprising a hydrophilic polymer, a conductive polymer, a fiber formable polymer, and an ionomer, and to a method for manufacturing the same. The permanent antistatic fiber according to the present invention comprises conductive materials uniformly existing in a network structure of the fiber by heat, when being melt-spun by the ionomer. Accordingly, the permanent antistatic fiber discharges electricity inside the fiber, when static electricity is formed, thereby being less affected by a condition of outdoor air, having a weak influence to degradation of properties of the fiber, and having more permanent and stable antistatic performance compared with an existing antistatic principle discharging static electricity by moisture on the surface of the fiber. |
