The present invention relates to a method to fabricate a work-hardening ability controllable amorphous alloy matrix composite material and a composite material fabricated by the method and, more specifically, relates to fabricating a work-hardening ability-adjusted amorphous alloy matrix composite material, capable of adjusting work-hardening ability of an amorphous alloy matrix composite material by adjusting strain hardening ability of a superelastic second phase by controlling a phase change characteristic temperature of the second phase within an amorphous matrix; and a composite material thereof. The superelastic second phase of the present invention is changed in a vicinity of yield stress of an amorphous matrix through interaction with the amorphous matrix, and after the superelastic second phase is changed, strain hardening ability thereof is accumulated and manifested after yield of the amorphous matrix. As such, when an amorphous matrix composite material is fabricated, even phase change characteristics is able to be controlled by controlling a phase change tendency of the superelastic second phase. In conclusion, the present invention has an effect of controlling work-hardening ability of an amorphous matrix composite material in accordance with a proportional relation with a phase change characteristic temperature or stress hardening ability controlled through an adjustment of a composition and a process in a crystalline alloy powder state. The method to control work-hardening ability has an effect of accelerating a development of an amorphous matrix composite material having excellent work-hardening ability which has been limitedly reported; and moreover, provides a new material for a structure having customized mechanical characteristics requested in various industrial fields of a highly industrialized society. |
