The present invention relates to a heat treatment device for a metal rod and a heat treatment method. The heat treatment device for a metal rod comprises: a pressing transfer unit transferring a plurality of metal rods which are an object to be heat-treated to continuously press the metal rods; an inducing heating unit providing a path which the metal rods transferred by the pressing transfer unit are pressed and continuously passed through, having a working coil for induced heating around the path; a rotation diffusion transfer unit installing first and second rotation rollers to be inclined downwards side by side, wherein the first and second rotation rollers support the metal rod passing through the inducing heating unit such that the metal rod slides downwards, rotating the metal rod in a longitudinal direction as an axis when sliding as the first and second rotation rollers rotate at a same direction; a transfer guide unit having a track member in an upper part of the rotation diffusion transfer unit to perform a caterpillar movement in the longitudinal direction of the first and second rotation rollers, and having a plurality of transfer bars in the track member to push the metal rod such that the metal rod slides; and a cooling sink installed to extend the rotation diffusion transfer unit to an inner side and filled with cooling water in which the metal rod sliding along the first and second rotation rollers sink. According to the present invention, the heat treatment device can evenly heat-treat the metal rod by arranging the working coil for induced heating in a circular tunnel shape to provide heat to the metal rod to be heat-treated; and the heat treatment device enables mass production on a tempered product of the metal rod, and reduces consumption of energy. |
