The present invention relates to an organic photoelectronic device and an image sensor including the same. The organic photoelectronic device includes: a first light transmitting electrode arranged on a light incidence side; a second light transmitting electrode facing the first light transmitting electrode; a light activating layer which is arranged between the first and second light transmitting electrodes and selectively absorbs light in a specific wavelength range; and selective light transmitting layers which are arranged between the first light transmitting electrode and the light activating layer, between the second light transmitting electrode and the light activating layer, or both to increase transmittance of light except the light within the specific wavelength range absorbed by the light activating layer.
