The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing a mobile commerce service using a high frequency output from a speaker of a POS terminal within a shop. The objective of the present invention is to automatically provide a customer terminal with a coupon, a membership card, or an available point by enabling the customer terminal to recognize the high frequency output from the POS terminal when a customer enters the shop and approaches the POS terminal within the shop. The system includes: the POS terminal outputting a high frequency signal having a specific frequency band; the customer terminal making a background daemon process activate a related application corresponding to the frequency band of the high frequency signal when the high frequency signal output from the POS terminal is received, and requesting commerce information corresponding to the high frequency signal through the activated application; and a service providing server matching and managing the commerce information to be provided with respect to the high frequency signal, inquiring the commerce information matching with the high frequency signal when a request for the commercial information is received from the customer terminal, and providing the inquired commerce information to the customer terminal. |
