Provided are an optical sheet with a strong binding force and improved brightness, a backlight assembly including the same, and a method to manufacture an optical sheet. The optical sheet comprises: a first optical modulation layer including a plurality of microlenses; a first substrate arranged on an upper part of the first optical modulation layer; and a coupling layer arranged between the first optical modulation layer and a substrate, and coupling the first optical modulation layer and the substrate. Each of the microlenses includes a dented unit vertically dented downward from a normal unit. The dented unit is at least partially filled by the coupling layer.
