发明名称 Methods, systems and devices for the delivery of endoluminal prostheses
摘要 Described are devices, methods, and systems for achieving occlusion of vascular vessels. Further described are certain reduced or low profile procedures and devices for the percutaneous occlusion of the saphenous vein, such as in the treatment of a varicose vein condition caused by venous reflux. Devices and procedures can involve an endoluminal delivery device having an atraumatic distal end, that is advancable through a vascular vessel, and an occlusion device received on the endoluminal delivery device. The endoluminal delivery device can have one or more adaptations for releasably receiving the occlusion device. The occlusion device can include a sponge form material. The occlusion device can include a remodelable material or a synthetic material. The occlusion device can include an anchor.

主权项 1. A method for occluding a vascular vessel of a patient, comprising: providing an occlusive device and an endoluminal delivery device having an atraumatic tip, wherein the occlusive device is releasably retained on the endoluminal delivery device, and wherein the occlusive device has a distal end, a proximal end, an exterior lateral surface between the distal end and proximal end and a material having sufficient column strength for sheathless advancement of the occlusion device through the lumen of the vascular vessel; and locating the occlusive device and the endoluminal delivery device at a target site within the lumen of a vascular vessel, the target site being spaced from a percutaneous access site in the vessel, said locating comprising inserting the occlusive device through the percutaneous access site and into the vessel and then advancing the occlusive device through the vascular vessel so as to advance the distal end of the occlusive device from a location within the vessel proximate to the percutaneous access site to said target site while at least a portion of the exterior lateral surface of the occlusive device is exposed within the vascular vessel; after said advancing, anchoring the occlusive device in position at said target site through expansion of at least a portion of the occlusive device to a sufficient extent to make anchoring contact against a wall of the vessel and fill a lateral and longitudinal dimension along a continuous length of the vessel with the material of the occlusive device; and releasing the occlusive device in proximity to the target site so as to occlude or close the vascular vessel and block blood flow through the lumen of the vascular vessel.
