PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus and a measuring method capable of accurately obtaining a distortion factor.SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus 10 includes: a signal generator unit 12 which generates a signal component of a predetermined frequency; a signal component removal filter 52 which removes a signal component of the predetermined frequency from an output signal output from a radio transmitter 1; a frequency synchronization unit 51 which synchronizes a frequency of the signal component generated by the signal generator unit 12 and the frequency removed by the signal component removal filter 52; and a measurement unit 55 which measures the distortion characteristic of the output signal output from the radio transmitter 1, on the basis of a signal before the signal component removal filter 52 removes the signal component of the predetermined frequency and a signal after the signal component removal filter 52 removes the signal component of the predetermined frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
