PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position measurement device with which it is possible to realize a compact and lightweight measurement head, and also to suppress the effect of electromagnetic noise and measure the position of an object to be measured with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A position measurement device comprises a measurement head 10, a controller 20, and an optical transmission unit 30. The measurement head 10 has a light projection lens 11 and a light reception lens 12. The controller 20 has a light-emitting unit 21, a light-emitting circuit 22 for controlling the light-emitting unit, a light-receiving unit 25, and a pixel data processing circuit 26 for detecting the position of the light received by the light-receiving unit and outputting position information to an arithmetic unit 27 for calculating the position of the object to be measured. The optical transmission unit 30 has an optical fiber 31 for conveying the light emitted from the light-emitting unit 21 to the light projection lens, and an image fiber 32 having an incident end face and an emission end face, with the end faces of a plurality of cores being two-dimensionally arrayed at the incident end face and emission end face, and conveying the light converged by the light-receiving lens 12 to the light-receiving unit 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
