PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow retrieval of abnormalities in waveforms by comparing measured waveforms with one another, without previously setting retrieval conditions including a retrieval zone and a retrieval formula.SOLUTION: The waveform recording apparatus includes: an input unit 2 A/D-converting a measured analog signal and fetching the signal as digital measurement data; a storage unit 5; a display unit 6 displaying measurement waveforms obtained with the measurement data; a control unit 4 processing the measurement data in a predetermined manner; and an operational unit 3. The control unit 4 divides the measured waveforms into a plurality of waveform data groups (waveform files) in order of time series at fixed specific cycles designated by the operational unit 3, creates a histogram from the A/D conversion value of the measurement data for each waveform data group, and stores the histogram into the storage unit 5. Further, the control unit 4 compares the histogram of an original waveform with the histogram of another waveform data group to determine the similarity therebetween if the waveform data group of the original waveform as a reference is selected by the operational unit 3 at waveform retrieval, and performs predetermined waveform retrieval (abnormal waveform retrieval, for example) based on the similarity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
