The present invention relates to a cover assembly for a fitting of a road sign, and more particularly, to a cover assembly for a fitting of a road sign, which provides improved waterproofing and rustproofing performance by preventing rainwater or moisture from penetrating a connection part between a road sign fitting and a road sign. The cover assembly for the fitting of the road sign comprises a road sign fitting, a first cover plate, and a second cover plate. The road sign fitting comprises a connection bracket and a noise prevention member. The connection bracket includes a latch protrusion on a top side and a connection ring on a bottom side. The connection ring has a ring-shaped section, of which one side of a top portion is opened in a longitudinal direction. The first cover plate is disposed under the latch protrusion and covers one side surface of the connection bracket. The second cover plate extends from a bottom end of the first cover plate and covers a portion opened in the longitudinal direction of the connection ring and a peripheral surface of one side of the connection ring. |
