PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for an automobile, capable of increasing the expansion development speeds of a front passenger seat air bag and a center seat air bag.SOLUTION: The air bag device for an automobile includes a front passenger seat air bag 2, and a center seat air bag 3 disposed on the left and right center side of the front passenger seat air bag 2 and communicated with the front passenger seat air bag 2 via communication parts 6 and 7, and a communication section include the first communication part 6 disposed in the front passenger seat air bag 2 near an inflator 5, the second communication part 7 near the tip side of the expanded and developed front passenger seat air bag 2, a suction hole 4a formed in the center seat air bag 3 adjacent to the first communication part 6, and a communication path 4 for communicating the first communication part 6 and the suction hole 4a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
