PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical reception circuit and an optical coupling device which stably operate in a wide dynamic range.SOLUTION: An optical reception circuit of an embodiment includes: a photo detector; a first transistor which has a control terminal connected to the photo detector at a first node, and a first terminal and a second terminal connected to reference potential; a first load circuit which outputs voltage to a third node which is connected between a power supply potential and a second node to which the second terminal is connected and in which a voltage signal based on the current signal appears; a first feedback resistor connected between the first node and the third node; a first limiter circuit which is connected to both ends of the first feedback resistor and limits boost of voltage at both ends of the first feedback resistor; and a first circuit which is connected between the second node and the reference potential, includes a second transistor diode-connected, and operates on the basis of operation of the first limiter circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
