The present invention relates to an echonet-lite terminal and a method for controlling the same. The echonet-lite terminal provides (or outputs) information responding to a user request by using information stored in advance in a database with respect to at least one device included in an echonet-lite-supporting system. The terminal includes: a communication unit communicating with one or more devices included in a standby power blocking system by an echonet-lite (echonet-light) method; a database storing a device-specific element transmitted from the one or more devices; a control unit searching for a state-changed element among the elements relating to the one or more devices stored in advance in the database when a pre-set program is executed and performing a data access function via database query on the searched and state-changed element in order to check a changed element value with respect to the state-changed element; and a display unit displaying an object list including the elements relating to the one or more devices. |
