More specifically, the present invention relates to a secondary foothold capable of maintaining a firm support force about a load applied from an upper part of the secondary foothold while the secondary foothold is deployed forward by adopting a strengthened structure and preventing an accident caused by the secondary foothold when the secondary foothold is deployed and malfunction of the secondary foothold by adopting a pressure-based operating pattern about the deploying operation of the secondary foothold. According to the present invention, as the deployment of a slide footstep part is controlled in connection with an operation of opening and closing a door of the vehicle side part, the actual usability of the slide footstep part can be maximized. Moreover, according to the present invention, since the deploying operation of the slide footstep part can be simply controlled regardless of the operation of opening and closing the door of the vehicle side part by dividing the deploying operation control of the slide footstep part into an automatic mode and a manual mode, the door of the vehicle side part can be kept closed during the cleaning and maintenance of the slide footstep part.
