PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detector 1 capable of reducing an output error due to the displacement of a first Hall element 31 relative to a first yoke and a second yoke.SOLUTION: In a position detector 1, a first yoke 21 and a second yoke 22 for connecting different types of magnetic poles of a first magnet 11 and a second magnet 12 are provided facing each other, and a first Hall element 31 and a second Hall element 32 are provided in a relatively movable manner relative to the first yoke 21 and second yoke 22. The first Hall element 31 outputs a signal corresponding to magnetic flux density in the direction where the first yoke 21 and second yoke 22 face each other. The second Hall element 32 moves together with the first Hall element 31, and outputs a signal corresponding to magnetic flux density in the direction where the first yoke 21 and second yoke 22 extend. A detection circuit 40 detects a relative position of the first Hall element 31 in the direction where the first yoke 21 and second yoke 22 extend on the basis of the signals output by the first Hall element 31 and second Hall element 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
