PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type developing device and wet type image forming apparatus that can break down aggregation of toner particles when a regulating blade is used by using a regulating roller, and can suppress the occurrence of unevenness in liquid occurring when the regulating roller is used and unevenness in application of a wet type developer at a conveyance destination occurring due to the liquid.SOLUTION: A developer carrier 9 includes a regulating roller that has a contact part in contact with a pump-up roller 14, rotates in a single direction at the contact part, and forms a regulating nip np that regulates the amount of a wet type developer 12 to be supplied from a developer tank 13 to the pump-up roller 14 at the contact part. In the direction of rotation of the pump-up roller 14, the regulating nip np is substantially immersed in the wet type developer 12 stored in the developer tank 13 on the upstream side of the regulating nip np when an electrostatic latent image is developed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
