PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent intrusion of air into a high pressure chamber without largely changing a conventional structure.SOLUTION: A lash adjuster 10 includes a cylindrical body 11 and a cylindrical plunger 12 inserted into the body 11. A body oil hole 17 is provided on a peripheral wall 14 of the body 11, and a plunger oil hole 27 is provided on a peripheral wall 21 of the plunger 12. Oil hole position adjusting parts 16 and 36 allowing the body oil hole 17 and the plunger oil hole 27 to open in a direction different from each other are provided on the body 11 side and the plunger 12 side, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
