An objective of the present invention is to provide a payment method using an application and a method of operating a server using the same wherein an application installed in a seller terminal generates a one-time transaction information code, and an application installed in a buyer terminal uses the transaction information code to perform an electronic payment. The payment method using an application installed in a mobile terminal comprises: a step where an application installed in a seller terminal transmits a unique identification number of the seller terminal to a server as the application is executed; a step where the application receives business information from the server; and a step where the application receives payment information inputted by a user, and uses the business information and the received payment information to generate a one-time transaction information code. |
