Disclosed are a lighting control apparatus, a vehicle having the same, and a method for controlling the same. The present invention comprises: a communication unit which is connected to an external device and has a plurality of lines transferring communication data and supplying power to the external device; and a control unit which, when a brightness signal is received from an internal lighting unit, generates a brightness control signal for controlling the brightness of a lighting unit provided in the external device based on the received brightness signal and then controls the communication unit so that the generated brightness control signal is transmitted to the external device. The present invention controls the brightness of the lighting unit provided in the external device based on the brightness of the internal lighting unit, thereby preventing dazzling attributable to the brightness of the lighting unit of the external device during driving, increasing the marketable quality of the vehicle, and improving the safety of the driver. Furthermore, in the vehicle, the brightness of port lighting of a port unit is controlled based on the brightness of an internal lighting unit, thereby controlling the brightness of a port lighting unit without requiring a separate lighting wire, with the result that a man-hour required for manufacturing and fastening of wiring can be eliminated, corresponding costs can be saved, and an internal space can be simplified. |
